Former position as a radio and television journalist from the Swedish Radio and Swedish Television. Started Auto Images AB together with Stefan Berg 1998.
Inspired by visiting bars on Möllevången, the movie Babel, his hopeless favorite team Malmo FF, dusty old film reels, silk route to China and rattling electric guitars. Knows that it is a privilege to take part of people's life stories.

Malmö journalist Fredrik Gertten has rapidly evolved as an established documentary filmmaker. "It is curiosity that is the subject of my films" says Fredrik Gertten. It is the journalistic curiosity that drives him and makes him stubbornly go ahead and get further and further into the closed rooms where the important decisions are made.
