Born 1973 in Malmö. Student at the Filmschool in Skurup. 1994-96. Then made two documentaries for SVT together with Anders Lundgren. Started to work at WG film in the autumn of 2000. Erik Bäfving is - after the success with ”Boogie Woogie Daddy” a most wanted name. He is now working as editor, photographer and co-director - before going ahead with a new film of his own. He is improving himself in the drama of the documentary before taking the next step in the directing-career. Erik Bäfving is co-director of the acclaimed film ”Get Busy”, a documentary for cinema produced by Auto images AB in co-operation with WG Film. Erik Bäfving was the editor of ”Bye Bye Malmö” - a film that got brilliant reviews at the premier in Malmö. It was also nominated for Best Film by the journal NöjesGuiden. Right now Erik is working on three new projects.
